Nestled conveniently between York and Ogunquit, the 2 River Road Inn Cottages offered a delightful escape that was just perfect for my husband and I during our recent romantic getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by how clean and cozy our cottage felt, making it an inviting retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life back in London. I particularly adored the thoughtful touches in the continental breakfast; everything was individually wrapped, ensuring both safety and convenience while still providing variety. Being just a stone's throw from the beach and lovely Ogunquit, we were tempted to explore, though the weather had other plans for us! we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the owner’s warm hospitality, along with her cute dog that greeted us each morning. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with a lush garden and a relaxing outdoor pool, I wholeheartedly recommend this gem—ideal for couples or anyone seeking a bit of tranquility in a lovely coastal area.
